Delo Group and NC Logistic Launch Full-Cycle Veterinary Hub

Multimodal transport operator Ruscon, part of Delo Group, and 3PL operator NC Logistic have opened Russia’s first multifunctional full-cycle veterinary hub in Domodedovo for veterinary medicine, feed, and pet food market players.

The facility was built around the ZOLLRU customs and logistics terminal, a Ruscon subsidiary, and the NC Logistic warehouse in the Moscow Region. The new hub integrates logistics, customs clearance, and warehousing with labeling, sampling, and laboratory testing services under one roof.

For the industry, launching this facility extends beyond expanding logistics infrastructure. The circulation of veterinary products is becoming increasingly regulated and transparent: item-by-item tracking for veterinary medicines took effect on March 1, 2026, with identical requirements coming into force for feed and pet food on December 1, 2026.

This shifts standard operational procedures for manufacturers, importers, and distributors. Companies must now track individual package movements, accurately submit data to state information systems, manage code aggregation, maintain electronic documentation, and ensure end-to-end product traceability throughout the supply chain.

NC Logistic highlights that many industry players, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, lack specialized in-house infrastructure. They must separately handle customs clearance, licensed warehousing, labeling, transport, state IT system integration, and order preparation for retail chains and marketplaces. For cold-chain items, operational complexity rises further, as certain veterinary medicines require storage and handling between +2 and +8 °C.

The veterinary hub operates as a one-stop facility. It manages labeling code application, verification, aggregation, unit-level tracking, data transmission to Chestny ZNAK and Mercury state platforms, contract warehousing, order fulfillment, and product preparation for dispatch to distributors, retail chains, and marketplaces.

The facility has the capacity to label up to 30 million product units per year, including temperature-sensitive items requiring +2 to +8 °C conditions. The hub can store over 10,000 pallets simultaneously and clear approximately 5,000 customs declarations annually. Dedicated climate zones ranging from +2 to +25 °C cater to various product categories.

Both companies anticipate rising demand for these services as traceability mandates for veterinary medicines, feed, and pet food tighten. The hub infrastructure was built for scalability, allowing market players to expand distribution without investing in their own licensed warehouses, labeling equipment, or complex IT systems.
