PSC will change its location and timing in 2027. The third edition of the B2B pet industry sourcing exhibition is scheduled for 23–25 February 2027 and will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
In an interview with ZooInform Development Director Yulia Dolzhenkova, William Yang, CEO of Pet Sourcing Fair China, said the move from Guangzhou to Shanghai and the shift from autumn to February reflect the purchasing cycle of international buyers and the production planning needs of Chinese factories.
According to Yang, late winter is a more practical period for annual contract negotiations. By February, many international companies have completed inventory checks, warehouse audits and budget approvals and are ready to allocate purchasing volumes. Contracts signed at this stage can help buyers secure regional exclusivity and plan shipments for the peak production season from March to June.
Shanghai was selected because of its role as one of China’s major business and logistics hubs. Yang noted that key manufacturing clusters are located around the city, while its transport and business infrastructure can reduce transfer and accommodation costs for international delegations.
The organizers expect about 500 verified factory exhibitors at PSC 2027, with a longer-term target of up to 700 participants. Yang emphasized that PSC is not intended to become a large-scale general exhibition.

William Yang,
CEO of PSC:
PSC was not designed as a giant trade fair conveyor. Our goal is not to expand exhibition space artificially, but to make business negotiations more efficient.
The exhibition will bring together direct manufacturers of finished pet products, raw materials, industrial equipment, grooming products and veterinary sector solutions. For companies from Russia, this format may be relevant for direct factory sourcing, private label projects, product customization and supply chain optimization.
One of the key elements of PSC 2027 will be a stronger focus on specialized zones. The Veterinary and Pet Health zone will include veterinary medicines, pharmaceutical and diagnostic equipment, instruments and consumables. Other areas will cover ingredients and industrial equipment, smart pet care products, sustainable products and cross-border contract manufacturing.
Yang identified three major industry trends that will shape the exhibition: functional nutrition and preventive veterinary care, material environmental safety and smart pet care technologies, including IoT devices and automated pet care systems.
The business program will include the International Pet Product Supply Conference, an industrial design competition, sessions on e-commerce, grooming and pet retail, as well as organized visits to manufacturing sites and advanced retail concept stores in China.
PSC 2027 will also expand its matchmaking system. Buyers will submit detailed briefs before the exhibition, and the organizers will prepare individual meeting schedules, with particular attention to the veterinary and medical equipment segments.
According to Yang, the Shanghai edition is designed as a B2B tool for companies seeking direct contracts, private label technology solutions, innovative pet products and veterinary equipment without intermediary markups.
